Honestly, compared to Camp Lejeune, New River personnel are very easy to work with and they did a great job getting me taken care of. No complaints right now.

I'm getting a new ID card after a promotion. I've been calling them for days now yet no one ever picks up the phone. Do they allow walk-ins or is it appointment-only?

The DEERS/ID Center is located at Bldg AS122 Bancroft St, Jacksonville NC 28540. Also they accept a limited number of walk-ins. The number listed is wrong as well as the address.

Does this office take walk-in?
