Horrible " care" if you can call it that. Extremely disappointed with service received here . You are not a veteran or a person, you are treated as a number. If you have an option find another VA hospital. If not be prepared to wait months to be seen for 5 minutes where they won't even look you in the eye. Patient advocates have full voice-mail boxes and it's extremely difficult to get through to b anyone on phone. If they call you , will not leave messages. When doctors and staff have called me they will not even give a name or number , even if asked directly.

Ursula Sullivan or however it's spelled was highly rude to my wife. I literally have never heard of a physicians assistants speaking to a patient in the manner she did. There's rarely good experiences in healthcare, but this is the lowest. I wish there was another one close by, cause we would never return to that one. Trying to convince my wife to just make the drive to Durham, Nc, better people, better service, they actually listen to you, and make you feel like a person. My wife told her how depressed she was because of the pain she's experiencing and all she said was "Mmmm, ok." That statement was low, because she let my wife walk out of that clinic without even checking on her mental state. Overall, the place is a bad joke.

I'm not a veteran or a patient here but one of the individuals answering the phones at this clinic today needs a new job. I overheard the way this woman spoke to and treated a colleague and I'm disgusted. You are working with people who are often aging and can't answer questions quickly or pronounce complicated drug names. These are veterans with chronic illness. The very least you can do is be patient. There is no need to fluster the patient over a drug name and question them to the point of upset over a glucose regulating drug. Show some RESPECT and humble yourself. Patient-facing healthcare and serving the community is not clearly not for this particular individual.

I've been calling to make an appointment. NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE. AS A 100% Disabled veteran I am discusted with Greenville NC VA clinic. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED THE WAY YOU DON'T CARE. ABSOLUTELY DISCUSTING!

Any VA hospital but you must sign up for VA health care. After that in cases where doctors are not available in the VA healthcare system they can authorize you to go to private care facilities that accept VA Affairs. They use a company called TriWest. You will be given an authorization number then you can call one that accepts VA. I believe Vanderbilt Medical Center does.
Yes. You can schedule an exam by calling 2528302149 ext 143243.
Sadly there are no walk-in hours for Primary Care bc there is not enough access with the few providers they have to allow time for walk-ins. However, yes, the Audiology Clinic does have walk-in hours strictly for hearing aid related issues. Walk-ins are accepted Monday-Thursdays, 08:00-11:00 and 12:30-15:30. Again, this time is set aside strictly for persons that are having issues with their hearing aids or related components.
I can't respond due to I have travel 84 miles from my home to appointments. But I get compensation for gas.
Bring all your records @ the people at front desk will help you sir a@ enjoy eastern n.c you will love bath, Belhaven , Washington n.c
No, this is an out patient clinic. Dialysis is typically sent to community care
There are handicap spots usually enough
The best way is to call the Durham VA center because they make most of not all appointments
You need your DD 214 plus ID, drivers license will do. Any income proof, if needed. You have to check in at front for Covid 19. They will tell you, it's right in the front, they will show you where to check in.
What is your question?
Hello! Gaye! How are you doing? Hopefully, you are doing well! Staying Safe and Healthy! Thank you! Best regards, Garfield Callens
I know they did before the Corona virus but not sure about now...call them
So far I still havent made an in person visit except to do lab work.
Honestly, I don't know. But please call the Durham-Greenville, NC VA system/ask, okay? And let me know /others know, okay? Thanks!
For veterans, you come to the Greenville VA Medical Center customer service office.
https://www.va.gov/employee/pathways-internship-program/
You would need to contact the Mental Health Department to assist.
Just as long as your address is updated. Shouldn't be a problem.
Not at the VA.
Yes!
Honorable discharge
All inquiries of that nature should start with his primary care provider or social worker at the VA if he is enrolled.
Yes he can I work here and Im a veteran also.
Yes, we have an optical center and an eye clinic as well.
You can try. The Greenville VA is clonic, not a hospital. They fall under Durham VA
Call 252-830-2149 and a representative can assist you.
Yes
They don't have emergency room here...
Ok, that is a lot. Let me see if I can help. You cannot walk in and get a blood check. If you have not gone in and done the paperwork to be a patient here, do that firat. Then, you can schedule to get started on everything. If the dr. feels it is important for you, he will set up for easier checks for you. I do not know about phone appts, but you can check on that as well. Normally, getting into the system is a pain in the butt, but it gets easier once you are started.
Yes
So how do I get a primary doctor down in Greenville at the VA
If the VA has you rated at 90%, you rate to go in and set up for the Greenville clinic to be your clinic. However, Durham will still be your hospital for anything over clinical care.
The front desk of the VA. They will guide you to id center and help you get with a provider/team. Hope this helps.
Where can I get my percent of disability increased?
830am-4pm
