Very welcoming parish! Saturday English Vigil mass was sparsely attended, so no problem if you’re concerned about being too close. Beautiful side altars! Wonderful neighborhood church.

This the first time for me ever rating a church. I am sad that its come to this, but it has. I have transferred to many Catholic churches within the past year. It always depended on if they had mass in person, the times the masses were available, how often there were confessions etc. In the middle of these transitions my parents would volunteer in these churches in various vocations: sometimes as lectors, sometimes part of the beautification committee or Eucharistic ministers. For the first time ever though one of my parents became a sacristan at the request of the pastor. And also for the first time ever, my parent was denied the right to volunteer after a couple of months of being a sacristan on the basis that there were to many "Spanish speaking volunteers". This is weird to me because the majority of the demographic of the church is mostly "Spanish speaking" as they so kindly put it. I would also like you to keep in mind that my parent also speaks English. I hope they realize that this is a discriminatory and humiliating act. I would also hope they realize that if they keep this up they will turn people away from the church. I apologize to the people who were not involved in this and find my comment a bit brash. However, this my truth and I am the one who had to feel the affects of these actions. Thank you and many blessings!
