Great people and great service.

My relatively new mini split was leaking water through its front. The technician was quick, competent and friendly. Solved within an hour. I did have to wait a day and a half for them to come, but this can be normal and even rather quick for hot summer months and post-covid staffing disaster. Many thanks!

Fantastic company in the Rogue Valley at the peak of hot weather Alpha Heating and Air out of Medford were able to come out immediately to assess the needs and in two weeks came back and totally replaced the old system with a much more efficient system. Being a Resident of Oregon all my life, Companies that treat you with great respect and kindness speaks volumes to me as I was a Buyer and Purchasing Agent for over 14 years, and worked and rated Vendors on Products, Service and Support. Five Stars to this Team. Thank you.

Tj from Alpha heating and air did a great job and I appreciate being able to come to my house short notice but I’m very thankful.

Although 78⁰ F is a good temperature for energy savings and comfort when you are home and awake, it is not ideal for slumber. In fact, bedroom temperatures that are too hot or too cold can result in a restless night. A general recommendation is that the optimal temperature for sleeping is between 60⁰ and 67⁰ F, regardless of the season outside. To help ensure a better night’s rest, consider re-setting your thermostat before you go to bed, leaving enough time for the temperature in your bedroom to adjust. If you have a programmable thermostat, you may want to schedule it to automatically reduce the temperature during the times you are normally asleep. If it works for you and your climate, try opening a few windows. The above recommendations are for a typical adult. Keep in mind that infants and small children should be in rooms with a slightly higher temperature to ensure better, more restful sleep.
WHEN YOU ARE HEATING YOUR HOME... Regardless of whether you are more interested in comfort or savings, finding that sweet spot on the thermostat may take a little trial and error. A good rule of thumb for energy-saving heating is to set your thermostat at 68° F. For more comfort, try increasing the temperature by 1 or 2 degrees at a time. For energy savings, turn the temperature down 1 or 2 degrees at a time. WHEN YOU ARE COOLING YOUR HOME... During the hotter, more humid months, nothing beats the relief of a cool, humidity-controlled home. To find your happy place, try setting your air conditioning system at 78° F for a good mix of comfort and energy efficiency. Then, adjust as needed to find your comfort zone.
