They claim I can get up to 200mbps and download speeds of around 10 but then I test the speed and I’m sitting at maybe 300kbps which explained why it took 85 minutes to download an update that wasn’t even 500 megabytes. The data on my phone actually works better and that’s honestly utterly unacceptable. Idk if it’s something to do with my bandwidth or what but so far, I’m not impressed. I am about to go back to boingo or something else. Until i see some sort of improvement with some help from customer service or anything, I wouldn’t recommend spectrum at all. UPDATE- PLZ DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, PATIENCE, OR MONEY ON SPECTRUM. IT IS A COMPLETE RIP-OFF. Tried calling customer service multiple times to no avail, and i finally upgraded to the “best” speed of internet they had which brought my speed of uploading and downloading to a whopping 800 or so kbps. Just about enough to do literally nothing. I will NOT be dealing with spectrum ever again or recommend them to anyone period.

Only decent service for the 29 palms area. if your having signal strength issues while home. call customer service for a tech to come out and adjust your bandwidth.

Canceled service ..i hate Spectrum news for starters. Bundle services for what.. I don't own a home phone and pay 13 bucks a month for 0. Decided to drop off box , why go to UPS, spectrum store in town. I was in there 20 min., for what? They were unorganized. I left and walked into UPS store and they packed and send to them. I'm Spectrum Free.
