Beautiful stretch of forest right next to HSU, this piece of forest has everything from cool trails, a nice park, a frisbee golf course and some sweet mountain bike trails.

Huge amazing redwood Forest Park with lots of trails that you could spend days walking. Little parks with playgrounds basketball and restrooms picnic tables and whatnot are scattered here and there as well. It's definitely one of the most unique Urban Parks I've ever been to In My Life.

There is currently no official trail from the Arcata Community Forest trail system to Blue Lake. There is a plan to install one along the old rail system that parallels West End Rd. The Community Forest trail system can be accessed at the Fickle Hill Rd Trail Head where trail 18 and 9 parallel the road.
