A well maintained easy trail. You can get a nice full view of the fall and proceed to the suspension bridge. The bridge swings a bit while walking, a bit narrow to allow two people to cross.

Very rough trail, got be careful. Beautiful scenery saw kiakers and rafters floating the rapids. River falls 90 feet in one mile. A must see adventure.

Questions & Answers

Does anyone know if the bridge is a easy access with a 1 year old? Is it a fairly easy walk?

It IS a fairly easy walk. I have a 15 month old, and I wouldn't hesitate to take her to the bridge. However, this obviously depends a lot on your fitness level and how comfortable you are walking up/down stairs or over rocky surfaces. It would be especially easy if you have another adult with you.

Not that I've seen however, if you're worried about getting over the tracks safely there is a bridge above the tracks.

How high is the bridge?

Series about right I would say it's about 50 feet above the water you should know that they replaced all the wooden slats on the bridge earlier this year and put new guidelines in so it doesn't swing quite as much as it used to and it's much safer.

Why did they screw it up..no handicap accessible and changed the bridge.. can't believe you can't walk on the tracks anymore...

Shawn South | Sep 14, 2018
David Carlson | Sep 14, 2018

The swinging bridge has never been handicap accessible. They fenced off the railroad tracks for safety reasons.
