Books are composed of multiple materials (paper, chipboard, glue, and sometimes fabric) which cannot be separated during the recycling process so they are not recyclable. Great question. Unfortunately, there are no great answers. Polyurethane foam is not something most recyclers will accept for re-manufacturing because of the high cost to process it versus the amount of material present (because there is so much air, there is not much plastic to recycle). A quick search did not reveal any facilities in our region that will accept this type of foam for recycling so, unfortunately, it looks like you'll have to dispose of this at the landfill.
