If you need shelter, don't go here, just kddng. Salvation Army would probably have a quicker solution for overnight, The security are helpful, hphp, staff are friendly and caring..

Staff here is very nice, kind, and accommodating. I was able to set up a mailbox. Keep in mind things are extremely backed up in this county. If you're homeless try to go somewhere else (preferably out of CA entirely) because theres very little help. Because of my mental and physical disabilities and lack of support/finances I can't so I'm stuck here. There isn't really anything they can do to find me shelter right now. It's only waitlists and I haven't been able to get on any of those yet but i have a list of places. I was told to expect to be homeless for 2 years which tbh seems pretty unfathomable so idk honestly. But the campus here is nice, better than places in Santa Clara County. You can hang out get water charge your phone and stuff during the day. There's a health center run by the county across the street you can go to if you have medi-cal. Realistically I won't be able to get here often but I'll have somewhere my mail is routed now so that's good.

10-2 only. no exceptions
Unsure but still can find the right kind info of where to go at Coral st on River Street Shelter or the Homeless Person's Health Project nextdoor Coral st Santa Cruz for the bus ticket info.
yes, have to follow the hours as usual.
Hmm, not my experience. i think the staff is great and yes they do have to deal with a lot on a daily. people just need to relax and let them do their job
No if your a River st shelter resident you may park your car on premises, but sleeping. Eating showering in shelter. Not live in vechicle on premises.
No but savere cut backs and the river street campground did shut down sending 70 + people back to the levy where they are illegally camped and can now be harrassed by all of law enforcement which will slower response times for real emergencies
Go to Coral St. HPHP
