I scheduled an appointment for July 2 to have my dryer repaired. They called several times during the week to confirm. This morning they called at 8 am to confirm their 1 pm appointment again. I was asleep and didn’t answer so they just didn’t show up. They now have rescheduled me for a month from now. I have stage 4 colon cancer and need working appliances in my home. This is unacceptable.

STAY AWAY! Sears Home Service/A&E Factory Services is the WORST repair company I've ever dealt with. Service appts. are 3+ weeks wait each time; technicians show up w/o equipment needed for your repair and all they do is tell you to call the 800# and make another appt. which is 3+ weeks from that date! They !@#$% up, you lose a day out of work for appt. and you can't get a manager on the phone for help - all you can speak to are "human robots" that read off a manual and transfer you from dept. to dept. with no assistance. I needed a Kenmore refrigerator repaired that was under manufacturer's warranty (what a joke) for a known defective LG compressor. It took 2 months and 4 service call appts. before it was actually repaired and charged almost $500 for labor to do the installation which isn't covered under warranty and told that the "new/upgraded" LG compressor is worse than the original part and will only last about 1 year! My family had no means to maintain food/beverages for 2 MONTHS and they could care less!

The technician was nice enough but the service was not good. He did not fix the problem after telling me he had calibrated the washing machine and it should work. Is not working correctly after he serviced it. It was a waste of time and money. I do not recommend Sear’s’ appliance repair at all.

Avoid at all costs. You will pay $120 to get someone to show up at your door. If your appliance is out of warranty, expect to pay 3x what an offbrand part would cost on Amazon for the part, and $350/hr in labor (not joking).

Sears does service repairs on appliances they technicians service my washing machine yesterday. They did a awesome job my washing machine is working great Thanks to the technicians.
