Great experience to see how pharmacy was done years ago

This is a delightful museum. Lots of wacky old medical techniques. Two stories of museum exhibits. You’ll leave knowing a couple fun facts. The gift shop had some fun souvenirs.

A fascinating and occasionally disturbing connection of medical tools and practices. Absolutely should stop in if you're in the area!

There is an old perfume shop just up from the pharmacy at 434 Chartres. Perhaps that is what you are remembering. Hope that helps.
They explain the whole history of both themselves as well as Pharmacys as a whole. It's very fascinating.
I took photos and videos with my iPad. No problem. I was there a long time.
Open at 10 in the morning. Satan cerriados an Mondays
Walk there. Very limited parking in the form of a garage nearby but I would not recommend it
That is the honest truth- I think the transition changing the name happen either before Katrina or after. -
Thanks for your inquiry. We have t-shirts, books, postcards, magnets and a wonderful selection of posters.
It's not on a ghost tour that I know of. I do agree with Brittany, you can feel something upstairs and more near the stairs to the 3rd floor (off limits, though)
Probably not everywhere, the first floor would still be interesting, but there is a narrow staircase to the second floor.
Thanks for the question, and to all who answered! The guided tour is approximately one hour in length. The tour is a 1pm, Tuesday through Friday. There is not a tour on Saturday. It is on the first floor only. Give yourself some time to explore the second floor of exhibits. We hope you enjoy the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum!
There were a few postcards
