A well kept rustic feel. Surrounded by beautiful mountain views this is a great place to stay for daily adventures. Mini golf on site as well as a pool and hot tub. There is a little coffee shop with simple breakfast and a stand that makes mountain berry shakes. Our room smelled fresh and was very clean. They do allow pets and charge a deposit fee for them. They don't allow you to leave your pets unattended inside your room. There are plenty of pet friendly restaurants in town though. I read several reviews before we booked and I noticed that everyone had a reply from management. It told me they care and when I got there it was proven.

We loved our stay here! Such a nice cabin space for two people. The area is also fantastic and importantly is walking distance from the Wallowa lake marina (be sure to rent paddle boards!)

Warm and hazy. The smoke comes and goes. Usually visibility is decent.

Are wildfires affecting the area?

The closest wildfire is about 40 miles away as the crow flies, but its smoke is drifting away from here. However, we do have smoke that has infiltrated our area that comes from the bootleg fire in south-central Oregon even though that fire is hundreds of miles away. Most of the time we can still see the mountains from the Wallowa Valley. Up here at the south end of Wallowa Lake up against the mountains, it is not as noticeable.
