Shame on Connecticut leaving people without a resource to call to get help with unemployment claims. This is disgusting. There is no way to reach them to deal with any questions. What a mess! Other surrounding states have set up systems, yet CT is not helping the Exhaustees, who have the last funds on hand. CT Unemployment needs to answer the phones!

Don't have this in a letter if you're unavailable: "To notify the Labor Department you can visit your local American Job Center". We need to reach the office at this COVID19 time. This is POOR and unacceptable Lamont and DOL commissioner!!

Very efficient and well-run organization. People are friendly and happy to give all the help and advise you need. Classes offered at no charge. Conveniently located across street from large parking garage and the parking is validated by the job center. Very positive experience.

The staff here was quite rude when I went in. The woman at the front desk was talking to someone so I waited patiently for her to finish. When she saw me, she chastised me for not letting her know I was there. She should have been paying attention to the door in the first place. I also had to wait while another employee I was supposed to speak to finished a conversation completely unrelated to anything to do with unemployment or job searches.
