First let me say, I’m a black business owner and I don’t believe in leaving reviews especially negative ones without giving the business owner or supervisor the chance to address or rectify the situation. I’ve made several attempts to contact the owner: left voicemails and messages with her staff and I have not received a call back. So if you have a issue that needs to be escalated... Good Luck. Overall, I didn’t have an issue initially with the daycare besides the office manager or supervisor in this particular site being seriously disorganized and all over the place which she said was due to short staff- understandable. When I initially signed my son up for the daycare I asked what time he needed to be picked up. She stated, “When you get off”. I explained to her that I needed a time. She then stated 5pm. This was definitely a unreasonable time so I started looking for somewhere else to send him since this information wasn’t given prior to signing him up. The other facilities were open later so I assumed they all followed the same schedule. I have 0 tolerance for rude or nasty teachers working with my children. One Friday I had an emergency at work and wasn’t able to pick my son up until 5:30. I called and let them know I was running late. It was out of my control. I went to pick him up and the teacher was rude and just handed me my sons bags didn’t speak or anything. I told the supervisor I wouldn’t be returning and she didn’t even attempt to apologize for her staffs behavior or attitude. Things happen and if you’re that rude and unprofessional you just shouldn’t work in a daycare facility.

Precious Memories Early Childhood Learning Center located at 3600 main street, gave my son the best preschool experience a mother could ever ask for! His teachers were very comforting to my son, especially when he experienced separation anxiety, at the beginning of the school year. They provide age-appropriate activities and their open-door policy allowed parents to visit the program at any time! I was often encouraged to volunteer in the classroom, on field trips and be a " Mystery" reader. The staff is very caring and made it a priority to call me, if my child was feeling sick or had an minor incident. A copy of the " illness" or" incident" report was also given for me to keep, and a copy was kept on file at the daycare. I often stop by with my son, just to say hello.

THINK TWICE. ACTUALLY THREE TIMES BEFORE YOU SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS DAYCARE! My grandson attended this program for less than a year and had five incidents that resulted in physical injury. The final one (and I say this because he will not be returning), left him with a serious bite mark directly below his left eye. It has been my experience that the children are not giving proper supervision. Additionally, too many negative occurrences go unaccounted for and are not, for obvious reasons, expressed to the parents/caregivers. Also, the teacher to student ratio does not seem productive for either the children or the teachers. Far too often there is 1 teacher left to supervisor too many children. During this final incident, the teacher was attending to other duties and not totally focusing on monitoring the children. By the time we picked my grandson up, his face was swollen and he was crying uncontrollably. The teacher informed us that when she noticed him crying she took him to get ice for his face and notified her supervisor. This, again, left children alone and unsupervised while she was away. When my daughter-in-law picked him up and saw his face, she first inquired to what happened and then took him directly for medical care. Upon my questioning of the incident, the school could not give me a acceptable explanation or resolution other than the other student was sent home immediately and that they put ice on my grandson’s face. We have not received an incident report yet stating that my grandson was the problem or the aggressor, but we keep receiving reports where he is the victim of physical harm. We understand that kids play and get hurt, but this particular incident could have been avoided with proper supervision. We have thought seriously about my grandson’s safety at this school and have concluded that we will not place his physical or emotional wellbeing in the hands of the staff or administration of this school.
