Everyone was really surprisingly friendly. Loses a star for the bs 20m parking lot situation.

What more can I say than it's just when terminal.

Very organized. The boat is awesome, tons of food and drinks.

Very scarce daily
You can not buy passenger tickets on line yet
The ferry will be crowded, but there will be more than one ferry traveling from Woodshole so you should be fine. I really doubt that there will be any special on ferry tickets, but I would call just to make sure. Enjoy your holiday!
the tour on the island is normal, the shops are serving like everywhere, you have to use masks to enter stores or restaurants, go and enjoy the place, very good
Do not get fooled by the signs nearby. Although they may say $40, we were charged 80 something a night. Best bet is to park at the Steamship parking and take the bus to the ferry. Palmer Avenue site is 13/day until 10/31/21. Safe travels!
Tickets are sold in the office here. If you are taking a car be sure to book your reservation in advance. You can also buy your return ticket here or purchase one at either terminal on the Vineyard (Vineyard Haven/ Oak Bluffs).
You should call the terminal first as schedules change during holidays. Good luck. Happy new year.
You cannot buy passenger tickets online yet.
Passenger, bike and usually motorcycle tickets are no problem. Automobile passage can be purchased but a reservation is HIGHLY recommended
You don't need a reservation for a motorcycle
There were dogs on the very as well as on the Vineyard, with leashes of course.
Not all shuttle busses have a wheelchair lift but there is one that does. I believe the palmer lot is the only lot that operates that bus. I would call the steamship authority ahead of time just to confirm
There are usually about 4 different boats going to Martha's vineyard everyday. Usually it's 2 freight boats and to passenger boats.
You have to go to Hyannis, but Seastreak leaves from New Bedford to Nantucket. Passenger only.
Stay tuned
Schedule remains the same Hourly
Go to the steamship authority website. Definitely do it ahead of your visit.
Open during ferry operation hours.
What he said. ^^^
If you plan to take a car on the ferry be sure to book in advance.
Yes. There is free wifi at the terminal and on the passenger ferries.
There is metered parking on the streets by the terminal, not for long term parking, only if you are early and they won't let you park on site
Probably. You can call the steamship authority in woods hole, falmouth
I don't know. Go to the Steamship Authorities website.
it may say on tix but i think its good 4 a year
I believe they'll transfer. It's all the port athourity so.
Yes
I'm pretty sure the answer to your question is, "Yes." They have a large parking lot about a mile from the pier. They bus people from that lot to the pier. People leave their cars these so I don't see why you wouldn't be able to leave a camper there. Call them to confirm.
Best to get food in the stores along the roadway.
Give your car info then change when you have rental info
Ran me $180 plus the fair for my mom & I. I would think for $180 they could have included 2 passengers... But it's still cheaper than renting a car on MV. That would run you over $100/day. Good luck and enjoy your trip!
Palmer lot is what is recommended, real slim chance that there are any spaces in woodshole lot ,especially this tome a year. I believe it is 10 dollars a night .shuttle bus run ever 15 minutes to take you to boat. Good luck and safe travels.
Woods hole is the port in which ferry leaves from ,you will want to get to the Palmer Avenue parking lot ,which is in Falmouth about 4 miles from woods hole. Get there by 830 catch a shuttle bus to boat it is free and leaves parking lot every 10 minutes, not sure how much parking is but its the only long term parking option. Cheaper than a tow and parking ticket though. Oak bluffs (OB) is the tourism town on Martha's vineyard, also easiest to get anywhere on vineyard from. Good luck its pretty and not to busy right now.
I expect so but call the ferry company to be sure.

There's a lot of parking, and it shouldn't run out. However, when it gets busy you will have trouble getting into the main lot. Instead you will be redirected to a secondary lot approx 15 minutes away and take a shuttle to the terminal.
Ask the port authority they will be able to answer that.
