I think this location carries some good items but I think they're priced too high at times.

The female store manager who wears glasses and who worked the morning of Friday, April 29th 2022, behaved in a condescending and rude way to me. I came in to make a return. I was not aware that returns are only for a store credit. I explained that the store associate I had spoken with had said that I would be able to get a return with a receipt within seven days of purchase. The store associate did not say it was only for store credit. I explained that I would not have purchased so many clothes if I had understood that I would only receive a store credit. I used to work in retail, and I know it is a very demanding job. I approached the store manager with respect and composure. I just wanted to see if she would give me a refund. The store manager decided to read aloud the sign stating the return policy at the counter and pointed under the words with her finger “store credit.” She could have simply said, “I’m sorry, but there’s nothing I can do,” which would have been a respectful and mature way to handle the situation. Instead, her body language seemed to be suggesting that I was inadequate in some way because I had failed to read the sign. Such unprovoked rudeness is off-putting, especially if I’m spending money in your store. The ironic part is, if the original store associate had been that specific in the first place, I would’ve never purchased the clothes. All of this confusion could have been avoided. I would have appreciated the original store associate breaking it down for me ahead of time. That would be a good training for every store associate to refer anyone with questions regarding the return policy to the sign. Such specificity would’ve been very helpful prior to purchasing the clothes; however, after I have already purchased the clothes, such specificity is just being rude and condescending. It was as if the store manager was trying to make me feel small for asking for a refund. It is a huge turn off for me to shop at a store where that kind of power play is going on. Also, a return policy that only offers a store credit is a terrible return policy, especially since Goodwill does not give the customer the option to try on the clothes prior to purchase. It used to be that I could try on the clothes, and I could return my unused clothes for a full refund. This place is starting to feel more like “ill-will” to me.

ALERT: THEY HAVE A GUY WHO PAYS THE STAFF OFF SOMEHOW AND BUYS UP STUFF FOR CHEAPER PRICES BEFORE IT EVEN HITS THE FLOOR. Dude hangs around all day. Totally not ethical. Report this branch.

Clean and friendly staff. That's all you can really ask for from a Goodwill. Ive come a few times and never bought anything, but the selection isn't exactly something they can control.
