Why would a retiree get hearing aids from the VA, when Tricare will cover?

Don't need one hour's 8am-4pm Monday-Thursday; Friday 9am-4pm due to training. Va outpatient clinic in kernersville (you have to sign in at the front desk where the volunteers are at and tell them you want to see VA representative from regional office) Monday& Wednesday Hours 8am-4pm; Friday 12pm-4pm

What is the procedure for getting a copy of my DD214? It was filed at the VA office in Greensboro NC when I purchased a house on Charing Cross road in Greensboro in 1971.
I am told that with the DD 214 I can get reductions on household services.

Best to go in person if you live nearby. It is a federal building, so no cell phones with cameras or weapons. You have to bring a valid government issued id for entry to the building. If you had a VSO, try them or make an inquiry through the Va.gov iris system.
