My sister has been living at Carillon for a year now and I am so happy with this place as is my sister. Its the perfect place for her if she can't be home. The staff there has been so helpful in getting her settled. One of the workers there is Cindy Laughlin and I just need to say she is top notch and Carillon and the residents are so very lucky to have her. She is so helpful, and she is also so friendly and goes out of her way to show compassion, willing to step out and give an extra hand, always smiling and cheerful. And I've seen her sit down with residents and hold their hand if they are having a bad day. She does so many things that I'm sure is not on her job description. I thank God every day that Cindy in there and rest easier knowing she will check on all the residents and she just really cares.

My 9 year anniversary is coming up at The Carillon in Greensboro NC. My Mom moved in here before I did. Mom really loved it here. When my husband passed away I moved in here too! Mom now is in a nursing home and really misses living here and the friends she made here. Her 13 anniversary is coming up if she were still here. We lived in different apartments. It's like family here. The staff are awesome and really care about the residents. Although during the Covid lockdowns the residents had guidelines we needed to do to be safe. This made much more work for the staff. Once the guidelines had been reduced Tamara was diligent in finding ways for residents to be able to safely interact together. Her joy of art, crafts lead her to bring very interesting activities and places to go for the residents to do together. Her bubbly enthusiasm draws many to join in with her and lots of fun by many residents . She got together with another resident and they began a newspaper and a book club and a writing group. She knows how to bring folks together. You can always go to Tamara and let her know places a group can go or if you have an activity you would like started. Or a movie you would like to watch for Movie night in the Great Room. I recommend The Carillon for your home.

Cindy Laughlin is the Real Deal!! So nice, funny, sensitive to residents needs, always neatly dressed and very positive. She has the perfect personality to be an employee at an unassisted living facility.

Unfortunately it took 3 weeks for me to get a reponse on my application and only because I continued to call and email. I was disappointed that they took so long to advise me of an approval. The state should find out why? It should never take that long for any approval.
