A close friend of mine works here. In the past four months, he has gotten 4 weekends off and the rest are not consecutive days. Meaning, two days back to back. He works 50 plus hours a week. This is taking advantage of good help instead of hiring someone new. This sickens my soul. He first applied here because he genuinely loved interacting with the residents at his previous job. I understand that we live in a different world now, post Covid, but this is ridiculous. Management would not want this schedule either. He works and that is it. They have a reputation of taking such good care of their residents, why not do the same for good employees...

I have just moved to Salemtowne and everything is as I expected. We've had friends at Salemtowne for years so we knew what to expect. After my wife Kate died, I decided to make the move and I've been thankful ever since. Soon as I get fully unpacked, I will relax and take full benefit of everything that's available. 5 stars.

I have lived in an apartment at Salemtowne since late 2016. I love it here. There is plenty going on to choose from. Every week day there are multiple exercise classes for any fitness level. And every day of the week the pool and exercise/fitness room are available. Every week there are multiple choices of activities including artistic, intellectual, spiritual, and social. And occasionally there are out-of-town and/or overnight trips. As for food, the dining at Salemtowne is terrific. The main dining room has a rotating menu that changes twice each year. There are always 1 or 2 soups, 2 salads, 2 entrees, 4 sides, and 1 or more deserts to choose from. Additionally, there is an always available menu which includes entrees, sandwiches, entree salads, and sides. Plus, sometime in February of 2020 our new Bistro will open! There is much talk about "aging in place". With all these things going for it, plus the different levels of living (Independent, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing), Salemtowne is the place I want to age in!
