I write this review because my wife and I love Brookridge. No one asked me to give my thoughts. My wife and I have been here for over eleven years and live in a duplex garden home. We have had beautiful experiences with the staff and residents. Whenever there was a need or question, we have been satisfied with friendliness and efforts to make our living here as enjoyable as possible. My wife spent one month in healthcare this past summer because of a fall at home, and we were happy with the care she received. The staff and workers in the healthcare unit were there to meet every need. There are planned activities for us to enjoy every month. The campus is situated amid many trees and reminds us of living in a forest.

Do NOT recommend. This place is understaffed, inattentive, and mismanaged. They ran out of the pain meds my great aunt needed, so she went without for an entire night. They also told her to hold her bowel movement and that they would not provide her with a bed pan. I can't even imagine how anyone could be so cruel to someone in need. If this review saves one more person from having to endure what she did, than it was worth it.

I have been and employee at Brookridge Retirement for going on 24 years. I absolutely love the residents and the families I meet. My coworkers are a awesome staff of people who care about the elderly and their needs. God continues to bless us with a great work staff.!! 😁😁😁
