This place has convenient hours. The staff is very friendly and appears to know animals well. The animals are receiving good care. The staff is very professional and helpful. Process is not long. I received a beautiful cat that I absolutely loved. She is just what I wanted.

Call them! Or stop in
Hello yes bring her in
I believe after 7 days and if you're deemed a suitable adoptee, you can adopt it.
Yes they have dogs for adoption.
9am
Can I have him
Check their website it varies
Not sure, I only seen cats and dogs
Yes, they have kittens and cats available for adoption via their website, bloomfieldshelter.com. I believe they're having a sale $25-$50 for adoption.
No
Sorry I haven't, I'm only there once a month to test water quality.
Can I see some pictures of cats that need to be adapted
Totowa Animal Hospital provides medical treatment for Bloomfield Animal Shelter, including vaccines. Please call Totowa Animal Hospital at (973)-256-3303.
As said yesterday, you must call the shelter directly. If you're not prepared to make a phone call, you're not prepared to raise a husky.
They have a wide variety of breeds of dogs and cats, but since it is a shelter, it depends on what animals haven't been adopted, or fostered yet.
Yes, they would need to evaluate his behavior and medical history. There's also a surrender fee that is assessed when bringing the dog in. Also, best to make an appointment when doing this.
I am not sure, but I think that they do
No it does not cost just go drop off cat it shouldn't cost you
Proof of residency and income I think is all maybe a reference
Call them to check if they have room. If so, they might work with you. And after you move, please don't get another pet. Animals are not garbage you can dispose of whenever it's inconvenient. They're sentient beings with feelings and this puppy will know it was abandoned.
Call them and check to see if they have room. If they do, when you bring him in, consider making a financial donation towards the care of your dog.
Do a Google search for French bulldog rescues in NJ. Some rescue groups are breed-specific.
I don't believe so. Its best that you call animal control to pick it up.
No. Contact AHS Newark and find out when they'll have their next mobile clinic, and where. They offer low cost vaccines.
If you live in Bloomfield or Nutley, you can bring them down there for a fee.
Not usually. There is a place in Franklin Lakes that does. This is usually where we send any we get.
I am not sure about the rules but if they have them for a long period of time they would probably put them up for adoption and they do very well with background checks
All volunteers have to be 18 because it's a town/government shelter.
Call the shelter at 973-748-0194
Yes, if the tenant lives in Bloomfield. Please call before 5pm today. If no answer, call the police on the non-emergency line.
You would have to call the shelter and ask.
Blankets, towels, toys, pillows, treats. They can use anything you can donate.
They don't have puppies but they have dogs and cats that are looking for a home and it's better off have and older dog that is trained and neutered then to buy a puppy and you got to spend a lot of money and a lot of attention to it like a child so I recommend you to adopt a dog because they do need a home
U can adopt for a fee. We paid $100 each, for 2 kittens. The good thing is they get their shots and neutered if u choose.
Yes I think so.
Any shelter will take a ferret actually. It's an animal and it needs a home. You'd be surprised how shelters can help. I hope this helps
Get them inside, even if it means separating them. I just had an apparently healthy 2 week old kitten die of what I suspect was caused by fly strike. I literally learned about this today, and never saw such a thing until yesterday.
