My husband has 5 pets I can't take care of because of my injuries and he's in jail and the food has ran out, do they temporarily take these pets in until my husband comes out and pick them up at the shelter? He'll hurt me if I give them away. Thanks

I am not sure about the rules but if they have them for a long period of time they would probably put them up for adoption and they do very well with background checks

Call them and find out if they could help you. Then you should contact a crisis worker so you can get help for yourself. An abusive relationship never gets better, it gets worse. If he caused your injuries, then get out of that marriage.
