I've been living in a property owned by Cruz and they disappoint me. Poor preventive maintenance, a negligent staff and mistreatment to the tenants. When I needed a handicapped ramp put in they tried their best to avoid the situation. Ramps were needed on the properties and mind you it is the law. I had to fight for better accessibility for residents in wheelchairs and this was during renovations. They also lied to all the tenants and did not renovate everything that was promised. At a meeting Danny Cruz was rude to me when I asked questions about accessibility and a better heating system. He thought it was the same system from 1988 until I had to prove him wrong. I recently had a flood, that I warned them was about to happen, but an irresponsible employee didn't right up work orders and the tenants had to suffer. I couldn't use my cooking range and had to order take out. They don't even have the decency to reimburse me for that. We never see anybody from Cruz at our property unless it's for a photo op. They suppose to care about the Cape Verdean community take care of the Verdean Gardens 1st! You got a lot of us living in your properties.

I am sorry but I am a tenant. I do not work for Cruz, they're my landlord. All I can tell you is to go to their office, which is located at 434 Massachusetts ave suite 300 and fill out an application for housing. But, be aware that they do have a waitlist and you have to be first priority which you are not. First priority is a disability, if you have children or you have been displaced by a natural disaster. So, just go there and see for yourself hun.
There are no one bedroom apartment available
I'm the front desk receptionist there at the main management office yes we take section 8 it's actually one of the only waitlist open outside of market rent and u can come to the office or we can mail the application to u and yes we also have buildings that have elevators!!!!
