Very well designed and operated. Just couldn't find the right dog to adopt.
Thanks! Your review is awaiting moderation.
Not remembering the age you start volunteering. You can if you check. There's an orientation.
I’ll take the cat. Do you have pictures
They are always looking for volunteers to help with the animals. They also offer training. They are all wonderful there!!
You go there and show them proof that you can't afford to take your pet to a regular vet. And your good you pay a little bit but only what you can afford. The Humane society is a not for profit organization but a lot of Dr's.are have compassion for the animals compared to many vets who see what they do as a job and couldn't care less about your pet.
Oh my gosh! I just dropped off a sweet gentle lap cat. Doesn't scratch, minimal shedding long hair.
Yes they take anything you can give Towels mats sheets toys medication food etc
Have you called the humane society's main number? The staff is very friendly and helpful so if they can help they will.

As far as I know it is a NO KILL shelter. They will receive her, no questions asked.
Mostly an adoption facility, unsure of additional services, but you can give them a call at the Google provided number and I'm sure they'd be able to provide a quick and accurate answer!
No they are not. There is an adoption fee
The cats that use the litter box are available for adoption. It is our goal for every animal to find their “forever” home, which means matching the right pet with the right family. Upon arriving at our shelter, each animal’s health and behavior is evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. This is done to ensure that we can find the appropriate home for each animal’s individual needs.
Thank you for writing; we have different types of domestic cats looking for homes. Here's the link to our website, where you can see photos of the cats available for adoption: https://humanesocietyofwestchester.org/adopt-a-cat/
Please call us at (914) 632-2925
Hello -- due to COVID-19 & our construction, we are closed to the public, except for adoptions that are conducted by appointment only. There are no walk-ins. If you'd like to adoption, please click on the link (https://humanesocietyofwestchester.org/information-about-adopting-a-pet/) & submit a Dog Pre-Adoption Form or a Cat Pre-Adoption Form & then call us (914) 632-2925 to speak with an Adoption Counselor.
Regarding the spaying -- we sell a Low Cost Spay/Neuter certificate, which helps save money with the cost of the surgery. You would be purchasing from the shelter & taking it to one of the participating vets who will do the surgery. Here is the link: https://humanesocietyofwestchester.org/low-cost-spayneuter-certificates/. We do not offer training services, but there are dog trainers who could work with you to determine a good training program.
I don't think so but call them
I would call them to see if they accept rabbits
Is there an adoption fee if so how much?
You'd have to call them about that
Check the web site for time and day for surrender. Very busy taking care of the animals so hours for surrender are limited. If you have food and toys and other items, please bring them with you.
Nope, but they do background
My black lab Lacey adopted me from New Rochelle Humane Society 2 Yeats ago Lacey was there about a week
Like it says on their website, they are a no kill shelter. In fact they rescue a lot of dogs from high kill shelters.
