I have donated items here several times, but my last drop-off experience makes me hesitant to return. After putting the items where instructed, I asked for a receipt. In response, an employee who had just watched me put the last two items in the shopping cart in front of her said “is that ALL you brought?” Caught off guard, I pointed to the other items I was instructed to put in other parts of the drop off area. Without saying anything, she stormed off into the back room. I wasn’t sure if she was getting a receipt or not. She returned several moments later and shoved the receipt into my hands, again without saying anything to me. This happened over a week ago, yet am I still upset by it, especially because I was dropping off several sentimental items and a few of moderate monetary value. To be treated so rudely by an employee while making a donation is off-putting. I am really unsure if I will return here.

Sweetest Thrift shop in the area! Packed full of treasures (and the obvious junk, that's just part of the deal at this price point), friendly staff. The book section is not the biggest but by far the best organized I have seen around! Kudos to whoever is in charge of that!

My regular trip to check out their used books. Modest success: seven good ones.
