The owner is disrespectful and two faced. If you don't mind ATVs riding around all day long, fireworks, loud music until pass midnight, and Arnie's passive aggressiveness

Labor Day Weekend 2021. Check-in was easy and you can purchase small items if needed. We pitched 7 camp tents in the Bear Trail section of the park, located directly alongside the river. View was pretty nice, there is plenty of space, area was over all clean and somewhat quiet. There is a busy highway on the opposite side of the river however it really didn’t bother us and is blocked by nature itself. There are two porta-potty’s near the camp site and a short drive near the entrance of the park has bathrooms (showers and bath). Overall the bathrooms we’re semi clean. Trust me I’ve seen worse and this wasn’t that. There is a fee for shower use (25cents/6min). There are claims there was hot water but in the two nights we stayed there was no hot or warm water. The river was to cold for that! Forecast for the weekend was 70-75F / day and 45-50F /night. On our second night at 9pm the electricity was CUTOFF! We drove to the entrance to inquire however there was no one there. A note described that we should use a walkie talkie to contact them but there was none to utilize. The following morning we returned twice (9am and 11am) to no avail (office lights were shut off and the door was locked). We decided to leave early on account of having children under 7 in our group and could not withstand having a second night without electricity! Money was lost…but sadly it made the experience less exciting. Don’t think I’ll be visiting in the future. They can do better!

Don’t bother with this place. After I read the reviews, I believe what I saw and what others said. This campsite hosts a music festival called Jetlag and as years passed, the owner was more and more intolerable. This year, Jetlag reopened after the COVID-19 lockdown and the owner was so rude and disrespectful. First, he screamed at everyone driving more than 5 miles per hour threatening to kick them out when there were barely any visible signs except for one tiny 9x11 inch one further down the road which you can’t always see in the dark. This made first time visitors feel unwelcomed. Second, the festival is only two nights and on the second night, the power was shut off on purpose by the owner. He was drunk and went around to every theme camp screaming and threatening to shut the power again due to music. He agreed to allow a music festival and was told the music is non-stop. Instead of communicating with the organizers, he shut the power completely on one side of the campground so hundreds of people were out of power the entire night which basically destroyed the entire event. The owner and his family also ran around harassing and mooning (yes, mooning) festival attendees! Third, the bathrooms are disgusting and needs a major renovation. There’s 5-6 stalls, one toilet was broken, one was missing a toilet seat, all had broken stall locks, stained and crooked toilet seats, half the sinks usually broken, showers are gross, entrance door is beaten to death, paper towels weren’t refilled for two days. An actual trash can costs $1 at Family Dollar and yet the owners decide to cut down giant buckets as trash bins. Seriously, how cheap can someone be? I highly recommend avoiding this place especially for any large events and I hope Jetlag changes their location next year.

Been coming here for several years now and this place changed so much after covid. staff was rude and didnt inform us with their MAJOR price change, $200 for tent camping?! $15 for wood. Never again. Also you can see all this discrimination throughout this campsite. And happened to hear a customer reserving a tent site aswell and didnt get charged nearly as half as much as we did and their group was huge. And lastly the bathrooms. DISGUSTING, tried to get hand soap and rusty water came out instead. They were dirty, bathroom stalls wouldn't lock. They got a whole new fancy entrance system but everything that NEEDS updates or fixing got worse. Never again. If your any other race besides WHITE don't come here. you will NOT be comfortable or enjoy your stay.

They do have WiFi. But on anything close to a busy weekend, there is very little bandwidth.

Hi ive been there once last year and have a weekend booked this aug also. Nice place.. its in a very beautiful valley is clean and well kept tho basic and maybe rustic. I get a campsite inthe large field area was $65 for 2 nights but i think that may have included a small fee for the group i was there with. The sites i got had power, a double standard outlet... And cold fresh water spigot and a fire ring. PLENTY of room to sprawl out. Note.. bring DRY fire wood and keep it covered. I also bring some bbq starting fluid as being in such a deep valley the dew settles early and very heavy in a thick fog. Although i don't fish the area is said to have some serious world class fishing which is literally 100ft from my tent.. Looking forward to our trip
