The breakfast was great, delicious biscuits and gravy. But the real star is the staff! Very attentive, friendly, and accommodating! Also, very family friendly with a fantastic kids menu.

With the reviews like that I doubt you can have a successful business, I'm definitely not going to visit your establishment during my visit to Charlotte though I'm staying 5 mins away, good God for the IHOP

So during my last visit here at Famous Toastery in DillWorth, I waited over an hour to receive my order. The manager was informed and he not only apologized but said the next meal is on the house. Today, I ask for that particular manager and provided a description (African American guy with braces). Today the manager was a Caucasian guy named Ethen. I told him of my last incident here of waiting over an hour and that the manager said the next meal is free for me. This manager, Ethen, carried an unpleasant look on his face with blank thought. You then say, you're the manager I'm sure you can contact the manager that said my next meal would be on the house. Ethan says, well anytime that happens, a card is given. He continued with, do you have a card? I mention to contact the manager. He walks away and contacts that manager. I'm assuming that manager cleared up everything over the phone and Ethan begins to take my order and again, with an unpleasant blank look on his face and he seemed a bit discombobulated. The customer service here needs some serious attention. The food is casual but the behavior of the workers....major set back. The actual owner needs to be informed.

After visiting last week and was almost empty, it still took an hour to recieve our food. Our server decided to disappear for the majority of the time until we had to flag down another server to get a check. This same exact issue happened today with the same exact server but this time blamed it on "a rush" and having to do greeting duty as well. Half the tables were empty at the time. And the kitchen was backed up with to-go orders. One guest in our party has a gluten allergy which we had to send the waffle back because it wasn't gluten free which was a serious issue with her having celiacs disease. Overall, expect to wait an hour and half with poor service and normal food. The supervisor/manager in the blue shirt was carrying this operation on the front of house side. Props to him.

Sorry Lindsey we are not. We don't take reservations for weekends or holidays. We recommend coming in as early as possible to beat the rush!
