It's a housing shelter not a feeding shelter. This place is very dependent on local churches and donators. No donation for dinner means you may not have one. The rules are really weird. Lunch and evening lock outs are the worst. Finding a bathroom is hard sometimes. While Bethesda did not help monetarily, the monitors keep people safe. Please donate cleaning supplies like detergent the night monitors would appreciate it. God bless all who help.

OK place to live if you don't have any where else to go

I know most of them got a voucher for housing and don't want to leave the shelter and most of them have been out here in the streets for yrs I just want them to do better and move on from the homeless shelter.
The route #87
I'm not really sure, I haven't seen know kids there.
Most of the time, even if we appear to be shutdown. We're still pretty busy.. we Def get a lot of incoming calls. 😊 the best time to call is between 12 and 1pm
No
Labor finders in Winston salem is hiring
Pray? Have you ever been homeless? I'm sure you haven't cause that's a pretty heartless thing to say.
Beds are on an as need basis. If you have other housing options rhose should be explored and Bethesda used as a last resort/ when there are no other options. If there is a need for them to hold your bed you should speak with the shelter director and verify their policy.
You would need to talk to the people who runs the place they can let you know if there is any extra bed or not
You will probably have to call them
I think its women only. Try Salvation Army
They will help you find the resources you need to help find it. They don't find it for you. With my experience staying there, your better off just doing it all yourself. They will provide a bed to sleep in and a meal to eat when you come in at night.
It's a great program that makes sure that everyone has a good meal to eat every evening by the people in different churches in the surrounding community. Larry Barron Sr
Yes they can help you with food and shelter and help you find a place to live.
Go to the Beathesa Center and don't act like you're a married couple, because if you do then they will separate the two of you. No display of public affection at the Center at all.
You have to be out by 6:30 and check-in is from 7:00 to 8pm
Bethesda center shelters women and men also there are many overflow shelters at this season, many centinary methodist transport people to many of these places if they would be down town Winston Salem NC in front of Domino's Pizza at 4:00 pm
Maria you just have to go by there next 930 Patterson Avenue Winston Salem North Carolina 27103. Only go Monday through Friday in the a.m. and talk to Delores the receptionist and she can give you a car so that you can go into the Bethesda without that card you cannot go in at all.
I don't believe they house them in the same area. I'm not certain of that though. Bethesda is a really good place to go through.
Do note that it's only for adults! The Salvation Army on Trade St is the "ONLY" family shelter this city has to offer... (when there's space available).
