New customer moving to the area. First morning in town I call to have the electricity turned on. I'm told they can't turn it on until "sometime the next day" because they already sent someone out today. Because apparently they only have one employee and he can only drive out once a day??? Your guess is as good as mine. One of the worst first impressions I've ever gotten from any company.

Where do I even begin. Awful customer service. The prices are outrageous. I feel bad for everyone that has to pay this company. They only care about money. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I would NOT recommend using them. Even with solar panels my bill is insane!! The only reason I had solar panels installed was to hopefully save a little. What a joke!

Sadly, after our experience with Unitil during the ice storm 12 years ago, we’re not surprised by these reviews. I called Unitil this afternoon to report a large dead tree resting against the power line on our road. Said tree was also resting against the phone and cable lines, as well as the power line. A gentleman from Unitil called me back and told me to call the phone and cable companies, because it’s not Unitil’s problem if the tree is also touching the phone and cable lines. I laughed heartily! Unitil does it again! 😂

Absolutely expensive. Compared to National Grid Unitil is way more expensive. In the summer with A/C it's close to 600/month; and I have no option of companies.
