Mirah was great! She was very easy to be with, put me at ease, and thought creatively about how to set me up for success. Progress was clear and oriented towards my goals. Highly recommend!

After being frustrated with doctors, my friend recommended seeing a pelvic floor therapist. I had a wonderful experience with Mirah at Embrace Pelvic Health. She asked a lot of questions and really listened to me. Together we got to the bottom of my issues.

I feel so lucky to be benefitting from Mirah’s expertise and I wish more people had access to such high quality pelvic floor therapy—I’m learning things about my own body that I never knew before and it’s improving my ability to do the activities I love without pain. Mirah does an exceptional job making me feel comfortable asking questions and talking about sensitive topics. I recommended Mirah to my mother and she was able to help my mom solve a chronic issue she had been struggling with surprisingly quickly.

Embrace Pelvic Health is one of the best Pelvic Floor PT's I have seen, and I have been to a few! They are very kind, gentle, empathetic and take a wholistic approach to your healing by listening carefully to help guide you on your path to wellness in a very supportive and patient manner. It takes special skill and care to feel so comfortable with practitioners to discuss and heal this area, they do it with ease and understanding and with careful attention to detail. I have always left my sessions feeling uplifted, supported, in less pain and hopeful; while often having learned something new. I highly recommend this practice for anyone needing pelvic floor healing and support. Thank you!

Telehealth / online / or virtual physical therapy (PT) is PT provided live over a technology platform rather than in person. Much of PT treatment is education and movement / exercise based rather than hands on. While not everyone will be appropriate for this type of therapy, many are. There are a number of benefits of virtual physical therapy including saving time, access to specialists, not fighting traffic, and not having to sit in a waiting room.
Kegels are appropriate for many people. However, if you are suffering from pelvic pain, kegels are not indicated until your pelvic pain is treated. Kegels can exacerbate pelvic pain! Many men and women with pelvic pain have pelvic floor muscles that are "overactive" or already squeezing too much. The first step is to learn how to relax your pelvic floor muscles before squeezing your muscles more.
Anyone with pelvic floor dysfunction like leaking urine, pelvic pain, prolapse, needing to rush to the bathroom, pregnancy or postpartum back pain, c-section scars, constipation, leaking when you laugh, cough, sneeze, or exercise, pain with sex, etc.
