Excellent pool. Rarely overcrowded. Half hour lap swim twice a day - great place to get my laps in. Also good place to come with the kids. Membership is kept low and makes it so affordable.

Yes and yes. Police drive by there frequently if they aren't stationed in the parking lot
They have grills in designated picnic areas. I believe you need a permit to use the area, but I could be wrong.
You can call the Teaneck recreational department. They will have the hours.
