It is a little dicey for a disabled to navigate from the parking area to the dining area. However, that said one word covers the staff and the food EXCELLENT. We go there as our special event restaurant, it is about 40 mile ride from home.

Pros: Place was well kept and clean. Dining room staff provided good service. Cons: Overuse of salt to make up for the all too subtle flavor of the ingredients. Price was high for what was served. Consideration: There is a formal vibe and the clientel is predominantly older people.

I took food to go. I ordered French onion soup which I switched to a crock and reheated, needed salt for my taste but was fine after adding about a teaspoon. Steak is fine. It was cooked properly. Tuna dish was greatly lacking, had tons of silver skin and was oxidized beyond what I’d expect from food that traveled a short distance. Butternut squash Risotto was cooked rice with heavy cream and a few large sixes of butternut squash. Incredibly disappointing and seemingly lazy execution. I assume the good reviews have to do with service and dining experience because the food framed alone is greatly lacking

We had a great time at Ship Lantern Inn - the food was solid, the wine and beverages list was great (and surprisingly varied with good selections) and the staff and atmosphere were excellent. Would definite revisit next time we are in the area!

A Classic Room with an old school ambiance and Staff. Eclectic Menu with so many good selections you need a table of 6 to order everything you want to taste 😊
Social distancing is practiced. Food is still amazing and so is the staff.
