The place was clean and it was larger than it looked on the outside. There's a fitting room and the place had lots of college students there ready for school to start. T-shirts go for $15-$25 and plenty of sports shirts for sale. The only suggestion I have is it would best accessible if they had 2 cashier's and not just 1. The line did get long.

The prices are attractive. Much more than the thrift stores I went to in Paris.
On the other hand, I did not find any "rags" to my liking.

Second-hand clothes and accessories shop frequented by New York kids, you have to waste some time looking for the opportunity and the right battle is still a pleasant way to live the New York lifestyle.
Do they have leather biker jackets, leather shirts, leather vests, leather boots & pants ?

yes but their locations in Brooklyn might have more of the selection you seek, Urban Jungle in Bushwick has the best and cheapest selection of leather products.
About 15 -20 mins by subway. N, R or Q to Union Square, switch to Brooklyn bound L to First Ave. stop. Walk south two blocks to 1st Ave and 12th Street.
Depends which L train vintage they have a few locations $8 to $10 on hoodies and sweatshirts.. T shirts usual $6 to $10 on average and vintage rock T shirts etc and other things can range $50 and up
