I purchased a $50,000 Bennington from Clay at Oxbow, and I am so glad I found him! Best marina on the entire Connecticut River. No worrying about high water and having to take your boat out, no worrying about the current. It is the safest place on the river to keep your boat by far.

Action marine in holyoke sells boats like that
There are no day rentals for boats. People rent dock space seasonally for their own personal boats. There are no day licenses for fishing either, its $35/year
The Oxbow Marina is open Monday through Friday. They open around 8am and someone is around usually till 430pm. They also open a half day on Saturday. 8am-12pm.

This is the review website, not the marina itself. However I have been renting a slip there for years and while they are pretty laid-back about what gets attached to your slip I have never seen a canopy. I think there may be a liability issue if it wasn't installed right or damaged someone else's boat. Just my .02
In order to launch a boat at the marina you would have to be a member. It varies year to year on the cost of membership. Around the corner is a state boat ramp which is free to use and easier access to the CT river.
