It is a very nice community field, with a play ground for the children. It also has tennis courts and a skate park. There is a track around the field that is an awesome walking spot. There is also a bike trail and access to the river for fishing. And a small boat launch. Baseball field.

Good fireworks show during Summerfest

Hillsboro Summerfest held at Grimes field is a great place for family. The fireworks were spectacular, as always. The food and vendors were so friendly. We will continue to attend this event as a family like we do every year!

Not sure about the field, but the short loop on the river trail is about a mile and the long loop, if you cross behind the water treatment plant and return via the woods walk is about 2 miles
