Flying out of BWI today! It’s usually good experiences but Thomas out of Southwest caused an issue where my significant other couldn’t get a pre boarding pass based on his assumption that my girlfriend didn’t need one. We get one every time we fly Out of southwest but he made it a lot more difficult to get on the plane due to his unprofessionalism. If anyone flys Southwest and Thomas helps you I hope you have a better experience. Very rude and uncharacteristic of southwest employees.

I have multiple handicaps. I was flying with wheel chair assist. I boarded my flight from Long Island with wheel chair assistance, my tickets state wheel chair assistance. When we arrived, there was not one person to meet any of the passengers with wheelchairs! There was no mention for the the handicapped passengers to sit back and wait for assistance. We were all waiting there! My son in law was grabbing wheelchairs for everyone waiting! Katrina (a supervisor from the airport at Baltimore Washington) started yelling at him that he can’t walk back up the walkway when in actuality, he never completely walked out but we understood. I said to her, he is just trying to assist everyone that needs wheelchairs since there was nobody there to greet us & she chewed my head off. Then I stood there and waited and asked what are we supposed to do and she said just stand there and wait til we can get to you! She was very short fused. My daughter also needed a wheelchair because she had just had surgery done to her liver. We decided after waiting 10 minutes to try and walk. I didn’t make it very far when my hip nearly gave out and my daughter went up to one of the agents and asked them to get me a wheelchair. The woman was a sweetheart and got me one. Katrina out of nowhere came over and said why does she need a wheelchair? Where is she going?! They said b13 and she said she can’t walk there! My daughter and son in law hear and said excuse me is she talking about us? They said yes and I approached her later about it when I asked for her supervisors name (which she refused to give me). I told her I felt she was discriminating my disability and she was extremely rude! She said she had every reason for saying what she said because she needs to know why her wheelchairs are going where they’re going. I feel that was an excuse to cover her. She said it was a short distance and she needed to k ow why and if I had wheelchair assistance on my boarding pass. Her attitude was poor and she not only made my flying experience uncomfortable but she made me feel discriminated against for being disabled. It was extremely embarrassing!!!
