If you are born and raised in Stamford and went to either Westhill or Stamford High this is your beach. Always has been and always will be the resident beach of Stamford CT. Visitors should steer to Cove Island Park as West Beach may not say residents only but it is.

Beach fairly rocky and water a bit murky, but it is the Sound. Very pretty view , not overly crowded even on this beautiful day. Decent restrooms, one food truck, sufficient parking.

Good place for refreshing. Small but cozy. You supposed to be local to enjoy this place completely but if you come by Metro North train from NYC out of beach season you can enjoy relaxing here.

It's okay. It's not Cancun but it's actually clean to swim in and they usually tell you if it isn't for that particular day.
Yes for sure. Just make sure you bring everything bc there is no snack bar. There is a gas station with a pretty loaded convenience store nearby jic if you forget anything though. And an ice cream shop close by as well
Hey pyillis, connecticut residents $26.50 for parking, first time and with the tag they give go to government office they give a steacker for free pass all summer. Non CT $64
Yes, can sure do.
Yes, you need a daily pass or a resident season pass. Cost $26.5
You need to buy a day pass. It's for 26.5 bucks.
Yes. You would need a Stamford beach permit or buy a daily pass for $25 at the entrance
Yes
I have only been there once so I don't know. And it is very small beach.
Didn't see any signs staying you can't take photos but i am not sure about strobe light.
$25 is entrance fee. They have made sure you cannot park anywhere nearby outside the beach parking without permit.
Yes at West Beach grilling is prohibited but at Cummings Beach across the way grilling is permitted
Yes with permit from the city Seasonal or daily
There is a seasons pass for $26-27 for Stamford residents. Non residents can buy day pass. No restrictions on food and drinks apart from glass containers
Yes and no there are parking fees but it's a big lot
The entrance is free only if you walk there. If you enter with your car, it's around 25 for the residents and 60 for nonresidents. It's not worth paying for the car entrance...
There is no seasons pass for out of city. You can buy day pass for a hefty fees (not worth it) You need CT registered plates with Stamford residency
