Usually exceptional service, but just recently we had an upsetting experience regarding the promised availability of an A level violin for purchase. Wound up re-renting our older B after we arrived and were told neither A nor AA were in stock, nor were they aware of when any would be available. A friend later learned that they were indeed available. Still not sure why the manager chose not to sell us the A rather than re-rent our B. We had never had a bad experience before. The staff have always been knowledgeable and professional.

The second floor has some rooms where you can try out instruments before buying. I'm not sure if you can rent a room but you could call and ask.
For my recent rental, they were included. Specifically, the bridge of the rental cello needed to be lowered during the summer. This was done without additional charge.
