Just a wonderful place to relax and go for a fast walk. Gardens are amazing with a very wide spectrum of flowers. Great place to take your dog for a walk. Small clean park with lots of interesting locals visiting daily. Lots of parking. Can get busy during the summer months.

Quaint garden. Oasis in a big city. Pleasant place to go for a stroll or to read.

It's a nice place, but sadly no sign of any forts. But the earthen mounds are still visible to the south-east and west of the formal walled garden (now called the Goodbody Garden). A tree dating back to the Revolutionary Days still stands to the west of the formal garden which is still very much alive and is now over 250 years old. Many wedding ceremonies take place in the garden either in the sunken garden or on the grass section. Other events are also held in the Goodbody Garden or in Fort Stamford Park. Please note that you must get permission for these events from the City of Stamford. You do nit need permission to use the Goodbody Garden as a backdrop for wedding, engagement and family photos.

Had a picnic there. Beautiful and well kept. Saw a couple taking engagement photos. Buggy at dusk tho but what can you do...

Entrance is right off the street. You're right that is missing some signs you just enter and park where there's no to little grass.
