Big boyd got trees. lots of them. Came here for them and got em. You wanna see trees this is your place. You wanna have a picnic near trees this is your place. You want to have a very nice trail to hike on that wont ruin your shoes, this is your place. The hiking trails are really smooth, and the views are pretty. You can choose a short little walk for a mile or longer ones that are around 5 or 6 miles. A pretty drive up and it was nice to walk with my best friend here. You can chat and walk and admire the scenery.

This is one of the better trails I've been on! It is gorgeous and very well kept. It is great for dogs as well. They provide maps at the beginning of the trail, which is helpful. There are bathrooms and water fountains at the head of the trail as well. I gave it 4 stars because I found the trail connections to be a tad confusing, even with the map. Overall, definitely a place to check out if you enjoy hiking!

I’ve been here before, for cross country skiing, and I went for a hike here on Tuesday. I love it! Would absolutely recommend for a peaceful walk in nature, or a fun hike.

Absolutely, 100%, the best place to go hiking early on Sunday mornings! Everyone I've ever encountered at the Preserve has been polite and considerate, love this Dauphin County nature retreat!!
