Wonderful service with a smile! Unlike Salvation Army the employees actually come to your vehicle to get your donations. Everytime I 've gone to Community Aid the employees are eager to help. Their eagerness and positivity make me want to return with more donations. 5 stars Highly recommend.

Not only does this store smell so wonderful when you walk in, the company is extremely integrous! I didn’t realize how much Community Aid helps the community-at-large until I started doing my research and asking around. I also did not realize how much the team at Community Aid Harrisburg looked out for one another and for the customers until I started quietly observing everyone. I would like to give this company 10 stars and 10 thumbs up! It’s nice to know that a company’s word still means something. I’m so grateful that this company’s “yes” actually means “yes” and its “no” actually means “no.” (James 5:12) It’s also so nice to know that they actually demonstrate James 5:16 —> “Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do?” James 2:15-16 NLT. Community Aid makes sure that the community-at-large is dressed and fed and the make sure the do the same for their employees. It's pretty rare - this weekend (august 4th and 5th) is a flash dollar day promo, meaning they only advertised it starting Thursday. But other than the occasional flash day, it's only once or twice a year. Fortunately, every Wednesday is half price day. Not as good as a dollar day, but still a big time bargain.
These are the kind of questions that you need to ask the store directly. This forum is more for questions about the opinions of people who've shopped here. Are the prices decent, is the place clean, etc. You are not asking a question of the business itself here, only of people who've been there.

Yes, it will be open New Year's which is a Monday. But for anyone who is a senior citizen you should wait until Tuesday because most things are priced 1/2 off for seniors.
