Totally worth the $10 entrance fee! It’s a large park with a long trail for walking. Many native and imported plants that are beautifully manicured and arranged to demonstrate various environments.

Yes there is a fee of $8.00. Bring bug spray. Lots of mosquitos, but it is a beautiful area.
They normaly will set plants out in the middle behind the wooden fence in the parking lot behind a sign saying free if they have extras or they thin the beds out so yes sometimes they do. Normaly during the spring and summer.
You will see some beautiful flowers blooming now but the the best time would be in spring.
They post their events on Facebook 😊
Dogs are allowed on leashes except during special events. Take em there all the time without issue.
They do have both of these available. There is a section on their website about it with the contact information.
Yes there are a few tables located around the gardens that you can sit and eat at.
Yes, the gardens has around 4-5 wheelchairs available to for public use.
A botanical garden with two beautiful walking paths. Pets welcome on leash
We were there for three hours and could have stayed longer had we not encountered a cottonmouth snake. Definitely worth a visit.
Yeah, the high diversity of all the different species of plants means you can see flowers for long periods throughout the year. Check it out!
Yes, dogs are allowed on a leash any day we do not have a major event.
I've seen dogs on leashes on my visit. I assume just like any other place, they'll be fine so long as they are well trained and you clean up after them.
Yes they do, at first I thought they don’t and I took cash with me but when I went there and asked they said yes
Unfortunately the plant auction will not be held during the 2022 Spring Garden Festival.
We do not offer a Senior Citizens discount. The general admission fee for all adults is $10 per adult.
We do not have electric carts, however, we do have wheelchairs available for guests. They can be found either at the EAST or WEST doors of our building.
All pets are welcome as long as they are on leashes and under the owner's control at all times. Pets must also be up to date on vaccines and display no history of aggression.
The most colorful time of the year is the summer but there is still plenty of evergreen areas to view in the winter such as the bamboo garden, palm hammock, fern cobble and cycad garden. We hope to see you out!
No not at this moment . They open in the morning .
You might be better off parking off the roadside just before the parking lot. Is call ahead and make those arrangements.
Yes, as others said, photography is allowed and there is much beauty to capture. However I believe they have a policy related to professional photography, i.e., for business purposes, like wedding or commercial shoots. They are a private, not for profit garden, so permits may be required if you plan to sell your work. Best to call and inquire before you arrive & unload all your equipment.
Yes we do have annual memberships available. Prices will vary depending on the level of membership. Here is a direct link to the prices https://kanapaha.org/membership
$10 for Adults and $5 for children 5 and older
We have a playground area in our children's garden that is suited for kids ages 2-6 years. We also have an area where kids can feed the fish for $25 cents.
It was $10 for the garden show. I'm not sure about the price of regular admission.
Looks like 9 am to the earlier of 7 pm or dusk. Closed Christmas Day.
The gardens are right next to a swamp, so a lot of standing water that is great breeding grounds for mosquitoes.
I do not think they do. Please remember you are just posting a question, NOT talking to the owners of the gardens directly.
$8 per adult and $4 for children ages 5-13. Children 4 and under are free
The dates would be published on the website.
Yup! I bring my dog routinely. I've even seen someone walking a cat on a leash.
It comes from two word parts that mean reeds/ fronds and hit. It refers to the huts made from palm fronds.
The gardens usually has dried bamboo stalks available for sale. During harvesting season there are more options. If you ask the front desk they'll show you where the stalks are.
