When I arrived at the clinic I explained to the person at the front desk that I had an infected ingrown toe nail. She asked which foot, which toe? and then proceeded to take my $40 co-pay. Those questions would lead one to believe that this is something they deal with and why not, it's a simple and common issue. I waited about an hour and a half and was finally called in. A very young nurse practitioner looked at my foot and seemed clueless. She excused herself and said she needed to consult with a co-worker. Eventually she returned only to tell me that they couldn't deal with this simple problem and I needed to see a Podiatrist. Meanwhile they had taken $40 from me and done nothing but waist my time. I contacted South Coast Health requesting a refund since they did absolutely nothing and was told too bad no refund. If I could have given then a negative stars review I would have.

Everything seemed fine when I first arrived there, however it wasn’t until I was taken back that I experienced an issue. The nurse took my vitals, and then took me to my examination room. She told me someone would be in to see me…. 4 hours of waiting in the examination room later I was finally seen by the nurse practitioner. That being said, the staff was kind and were extremely knowledgeable, and were able to help me out. Definitely not worth 4 hours of waiting to be checked out.
