GG was able to work with me continuously during the COVID 19 which halted a planned move three days before it was to have occurred. When I was able to finally move, my giants were able to snap to it and show up with an efficient and friendly crew that performed to utmost satisfaction. Though I hope not to move again anytime soon, if I have to, I know who’ll I’ll choose!

We are long-time Gentle Giant fans. They've moved me individually, moved my family multiple times, moved a treadmill...every time they are competent, polite and efficient. And, in our most recent move -- a temporary relocation due to renovations -- my daughter tested positive for Covid DURING the move (they had been packing at the house on a Friday, and she tested positive on Saturday morning). The team conferred, agreed they would continue the move as long as we were out of the house. They sorted things into the "storage" truck and the "apartment" truck as planned...and when we later realized while unpacking that our silverware along with 2-3 other small items accidentally went to storage in the mayhem, the quality control office organized a retrieval and delivery of the missing items for no cost. We are customers for life. We ❤️ Gentle Giant.

The movers were extremely efficient, friendly, and professional. The estimate cited around 4-6 hours for pickup and 4-6 hours for drop-off, but our team was much faster and came in well under the original estimate. They arrived right on time and communicated their timing ahead, which was greatly appreciated. They took good care with all furniture and avoided damaging/losing any of our items. The GG admin team also helped resolve a minor billing dispute efficiently. I HIGHLY recommend moving with Gentle Giant!

We recommend scheduling your move as far in advance as possible. The farther out you can plan your move, the greater the availability you will have in choosing a preferred date and time. A general rule of thumb is to contact us no later than two weeks in advance of your desired move date.
Yes. Our professional movers and moving trucks are prepared to move during rain, sleet, or snow. However, in order to keep costs down, we recommend you shovel, rake, or otherwise clear the access ways in preparation for their arrival.
No, we are not equipped to dispose of trash. However, if you wish to have something transported to a waste disposal location, we are able to transport it at the hourly rate, plus any fee imposed by the disposal facility. If possible, talk to your move coordinator prior to moving day to make these arrangements.
Gentle Giant, as well as all licensed movers, will not move hazardous or combustible items such as propane tanks, firearms, paint, and aerosols, as the temperature in the truck could cause these items to explode or ignite.
Demand for moving services is generally at its lowest during the middle of the month and, in particular, the middle of the week. If your schedule allows for a move on one of these days, many movers offer their most competitive rates during those times.

There are many factors that go into the costs of a move from the time during the week to time of year. Also what you're having done plays a huge factor as well. Gentle Giant is a moving company that caters to high end clientele or people who typically want all the bells and whistles that can be gotten with a move company. They basically cater to everyone's specific needs as much as possible. They are not cheap, and it shows from the moment they begin moving people. They have athletes moving people, meaning they really move fast without much stopping. They do their best to be careful with people's belongings, and take care of their customers when something goes wrong, provided you've chosen a good premium protection plan.
