Beyond the restaurant’s terrific vegetable combo, I also want to call attention to an unexpected hit: dulet. A dish we haven’t previously encountered in Ethiopian restaurants in the US (even major ones in DC and Denver), Dulet consists of a mixture of lamb tripe, liver, and beef, finely chopped , and cooked in garlic, onion, and mitmita. Its effect? An amazing mixture of chewy, earthy, crunchy, tender, all together with a savory kick that comes from cardamom and chili.

My friends and I had a great time here! It was some people's first time eating Ethiopian food and the 2 owners came and taught us how to properly eat the food. The food, coffee, and service was all amazing! Highly recommend.

My first foyer into Ethiopian cuisine and I am VERY pleased!! I enjoy Indian/Korean/Mediterranean, but this may be my new favourite. We had dishes of lamb, chicken, beef and samosas, and I ate until I couldn't. The owner was so sweet and gracious with our questions. Spices permeate the air in this welcoming fragrence when you walk in. A must try experience!

Best Ethiopian food in the Twin Cities! We absolutely enjoyed our meals. The spices were outstanding, the portions were perfect, and the staff were so nice and friendly we couldn't have been happier. We cannot wait to eat here again. I would give it more stars if I could!

I don't think the interior would be, but they do have patio tables out front that should be OK.
First and third saturday nights, 6:30-9:30...
