The waffles were tiny, heavy, overpriced and not cooked thoroughly, especially the gluten free ones. We arrived one hour before closing intentionally. The staff was sullen; all the chairs were on tables already probably in hope of no other customers. I was unable to eat the gluten free waffles.

Checked this place out for breakfast and unfortunately wasn’t impressed. The grounds are cute, the inside of the building was well decorated and vibey. It made you feel like you were about to eat the best “signature” waffle you ever had! The kids working were nice and quick. The buzzer system is nice as the inside is very small and can easily get congested with other customers (as well as sweaty and hot). Once I received my food it looked great! I got the maple bacon waffle and took it back to my seat. Obviously took a bite of bacon first and you can’t go wrong with bacon. There was a garnish of two pineapples and that’s when things took a turn. The pineapples were dry and hard so I moved to the main course. It was covered in syrup and butter and looked amazing. I took the first bite and…the waffle…was mush. It was as if it wasn’t cooked through and I was just chewing on uncooked dough. I was out to eat with 5 others and they all agreed their waffle was mush or something was off. I tried to eat the most I could as this one waffle cost $8….of course I want my moneys worth! I would barely eat half of it and these waffles are not very big. A good reference could be about the size of a softball pressed into a waffle. I’m not sure what is in these waffles or if this is a delicious mushy waffle to others…unfortunately for 6 people it was a disappointment…we left with sad tummies and a bit hungry. The 1 star is for the really well kept business. Maybe if they put the same energy into decorating the restaurant into their food maybe this would be a different review. Don’t mean to be rude but just being honest.

WAFFLES & Coffee- need I say more. Worth the scenic drive, n/w Gull Lake.

The line at 11am on Sunday honestly didn’t take long. They give you a buzzer after you order, so you can grab a table while you wait. The atmosphere is relaxing, and I love that it is family and dog friendly. They had yard games - corn hole …
