Watch where you park. I received a $30.00 parking ticket yesterday. It was one of many pull- offs that I've been parking in for over 30 years. Just like that! No no parking sign at all! Bad feeling. Vinton Pond road.

You can park in the lots just off 119 and get to the trails. Main gate is closed. Not sure about dogs - likely same rule as summer.

Yes they opened all the ma state parks not sure on what the rules are now tho because of the virus

Yes, perl Hill and Willard Brook are adjacent to each other, there's a trail connecting the two areas together. Camping is allowed in both, in designated areas. Both have a nice camping park. Not sure if they still do wilderness sites, out in the middle of the woods. Perl Hill area has a block building showing facility, where as Willard Brook at damion pond has a lot nicer swimming pond that is well maintained and clean. Perl Hill only has a mud hole for swimming. Driving from one to the other is short drive but worth it. I do believe if your registered in one you can use both facilities. You definitely can use both facilities if you posses a season pass, disable and senior people are entitled to a hefty discount. You need handicap placard, handicap license plate, or id with age. Have a good time, I have enjoyed them throughout the different seasons, limited facilities in the off seasons. Did perl Hill most of the time for the showers. Damion used to have outside showers. Still ?.

Hi Carla M. Basically it's open year round. Now the Swimming Pond might be empty during the off season. Your welcome to swim in the snow melt runoff any time you want. Be brave and oil up your body and go for it. There's still Snow in them there Hills, I know, I saw it on Mt. Katahdin's northern flank 2 days ago, posted photo in my nam e on Katahdin. IDK when they dam up the Dam. Any case, use the oil or Vasaleen to close your pores or you may get Hyperthermic and spoil your adventure Swimming in early season. Not much water running in Trap Falls now makes a great chilling shower now. Have fun go for it. Mr. P. They most certainly are as long as they are controlled.

The park closes to the public at 8pm. U can grill all the way up to that time. Not sure on the charcoal grill but I have seen people up there using them before.
