I use to go to another campground for 35 years which had nothing at all for the kids to do. The old campground also had no running water or showers but thankfully I had my modular home there I could take a shower I n my own home. The bathroom you did your business in a big holding tank but couldn't flush or wash your hands. Crystal Rock has so much to do for the kids and the adults and their rates are very affordable. The showers and restrooms were clean, the staff was super friendly. I know when I come back I will be staying here again. If you have never been here try this place out you won't be disappointed.

Heidi made reserving sites and cabins for our group easy. She followed up when she noticed we didn't have as many making reservations as anticipated. As it happened, some had registered without our group name. This campground has a lot of fun activities and is generally clean for a campground. We had off-site activities planned, but I felt kind of bad about not being around for the special activities. I would like to return with my adult daughters, sons-in-law, and the grandson. I think the grandboy would enjoy his time here.

Decent enough camp but quiet hours aren't enforced. They don't care. Look up any review less that 5 stars. There is no response from management. They don't care. They will sing their own praises to 5 star reviews and do nothing to correct anything from the posts less than. Only got 4 star because I thought it would make this more likely to be seen.

Stayed in one of the cabins with my family of 6 Memorial weekend. The cabin was just perfect for us. Clean and comfortable. The staff is amazing, kept us entertained all weekend. The game room is very fun with classic games like football, air hockey and ping pong. The gift shop has an interesting and tasty assortment of candy. We will definitely visit again!

It is a very open, basically a field with very few trees or neighbor separation. Clean. Bathrooms clean as well. Playground, game room. Basketball court. No trees for hammocks however. It's okay, and is certainly kid friendly.
We are actually up the road from the Sandusky Bay - which is off of the Lake. However, the access closest to us is all private property. How ever there are many Kayaking options in the general area. I suggest you take a look on the website shoresandislands.com to find out more.
Hello, A primitive tent site has no services like electricity. They do include a picnic table and a fire ring but you need your own tent and camping equipment. The electric tent sites are a grassy site with 20amp electricity available. Many campers like these campsites if they need the ability to have electricity for charging, or small appliance like a Cpap machine or a fan. There is also an area of electric tent sites that are along the woods. These are not as grassy but often offer more shade for those who prefer that setting. Feel free to call me with any additional questions at 419-684-7177.
There is now a group booking option on our online reservation system. You may also call the office and we will look to see what options are available for people to be together.

Your not going to find campgrounds that provide that type of stuff. It isn't a hotel.
