I really wish I could give zero stars. Midway through 2021 I went here to inquire about engine failure. They found that the timing chain had slipped and that caused the failure. I was given two quotes on repairs either to replace the engine or repair it. The two quotes were extremely overpriced, but I read these reviews on here and figured they must do good work. They recommended that I repair the engine instead of putting in a used engine. So I did what they recommended. The repair literally took months. Now after paying over 7,000 for that repair and only 20k miles later. My engine has destroyed itself. After taking it to the dealership, I told them what happened and was told I shouldn't have brought it to the dealership first and that I should have brought it to Deane's first. After my horrible first experience I didn't even want to go back. Barbara the owner is as psychotic as it gets. But I had no choice but to tow my car back to Deane's from the dealership. Btw the dealership told me Deane's used all aftermarket parts instead of the OEM parts that I thought I received. Anyways when I told Barbara she never told me I could possibly be charged a diagnostic fee just to see if my warranty would apply. I was giving a one-year $36,000 mi warranty on my engine rebuild done there. So after having my car for 3 weeks now I finally heard back on a Friday right before it closes that my warranty won't cover it. Not only that but I am being charged 400 for just looking at it. The dealership didn't even charge me to tell me the car needed a engine. Which I told Deane's before I got there. If ik I would never have brought it back there. So anyways because of the hard times I'm going through I can't pay 400 dollars for a diagnostic fee that I never agreed too. They are now holding my car hostage. They won't let me tow it out. They are now going to charge me storage fees for everyday that my car is there even though I want to tow it out. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. Any interaction with Barbara should be a red flag of future communication with this business, it is absolutely horrible. Barbara is a vindictive and psychotic person as she will show you I'm sure when she replies.
