Where people are dollar signs…. Pros: On a day to day, this is a decent place to live. I felt small general maintenance requests were cared for in a timely manner and that’s extremely important to me on a day to day basis as that’s what you deal with most. Tip: record the conversation back to them via EMAIL. If anything substantial comes up you will need proof and sometimes this was the only way to have large issues (rodent in my wall, sewage contamination) actually addressed. Small issues were handled very quickly and painlessly. Employees were pleasant and helpful. The grounds are pretty and there is a very convenient attached garage. I loveddd my actual apartment setup itself once I moved to ground floor. I appreciated the more secure locker system installed after packages were being constantly stolen. Cons: MORAL VALUE OF UPPER MANAGEMENT IS ZERO. As you can see, this weighs heavily on my rating. I’m appalled. I believe the overall company (not the people you interact with on a daily basis) has no morals or value for its residents and I find that disgusting. They train managers to stay calm but NEVER give up a dime as concessions for any troubles, even when it would be the right thing to do. If you only have small issues, you’ll love it. If anything major comes up, you’re in immoral hands. Examples if you want more detail: I was living on the 4th floor, the elevator was out of order for SIX WEEKS for fixing and I had a toddler and a baby. We were not refunded ANY money during that time for the portion of rent equivalent to the elevator service (lawyer estimated about $375). I spent 6 weeks carrying my children up and down stairs through tantrums along with groceries and laundry (they had a porter during limited hours which unfortunately didn’t help us). I spoke to a lawyer who told me that not refunding a portion of rent was illegal but my cost to pursue the case would essentially use that refund money. They were only willing to help pay tenants move somewhere else, as if I now want to move my whole family. The lack of personal value for the human being on the other end is seriously atrocious. example 2: I was already moved out of my apartment and was meant to give my keys in on Sunday but I wasn’t informed that I could drop it off in a box. I called, no answer. Office was closed (even though the sign says it’s open Sunday) and so I was trying to be responsible to make sure I handed keys over to a human being so I came back Monday to hand them over. They charged me $90 for doing so! Even considering they were already doing renovations in the apartment for the NEXT client. But the response was “policy”. Late is late, so they “have” to charge me. But ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS POLICY. TENANTS are just DOLLAR signs to them. I look down on that perspective in business and find that disgusting.

Update to below: was sent a final bill write-up and everything checked out, so I’m very happy with that! I assume things must have been lost in translation when moving out, but I do wish the communication was smoother. However, I can tell management is trying their best and is overall pretty efficient. Cheryle is awesome. Original: Everything was great up until moving out. I paid a deposit of $300 before moving in, and it has taken more than a month to get information on where this deposit has gone. I still don’t know. I needed to terminate my lease early due to a job change, and from the get go there has been little to no communication on how this process would work. There were $2500+ in fees to pay and no answers on expectations unless I had to call myself, often several times, to receive a response. It has been a frustrating ordeal. Otherwise, staying at Huntington Green was awesome. The apartment was super well maintained, loved my 1B1B, all maintenance issues were dealt with quickly and promptly. Renovation to the grounds made the parking space smoother and upgraded the flooring to our hallways. Safety was rarely an issue, and the quick walk to Heinen’s and CVS made it easy to grab groceries or food. The rooms are soundproof, occasionally you can hear creaking from the rooms above or noise from neighbors, but that’s to be expected. The patio is hard to use since you’re facing literally all your neighbors and the view is of the car garage roof, but I liked the light that it brought to my living room. I’m sad that this move-out incident has cast a darker light on the rest of my experience here.
